Reviews Susan R writes: I found Masterpiece to exceed my expectations, even after touring it in March. The surrounding mountains offer a fantastic view and the outside of the home was well maintained. I would like to express my delight with the kitchen. I think I used every piece of equipment except the mixer/blender and the meat slicer. Utensils and knives were plentiful. I brought my own waffle maker. I have a gas range and felt comfortable using the one in the kitchen. I was impressed with the space for food – used the corner lazy susans. The refrigerator and freezer had ample space for our needs. And the dishwasher was very quiet. All of this was important to me as we were having the brunch after the wedding for about 40 people! The deck was convenient and a great place to have morning coffee with the sun rising over the mountains. Our bedroom (master) also had a wonderful view. The bed was comfortable and had ample pillows and bedding. I loved the cedar drawers in our dresser. Our children and their spouses utilized the downstairs. They loved their rooms, had plenty of storage/closet space, and even played a couple games of trivial pursuit one evening. I was thrilled that the laundry room had an iron and ironing board (my son, the best man made great use of them). We really appreciated the hair dryers in the bathrooms as the bride, bride’s maids and flower girls all did their hair (or had it done)in our master bathroom! I was also happy with the proximity to Mary’s Lake & Mary’s lake lodge- we went to the Tavern for dessert two different nights. The drive to RMNP was nice because we could avoid most of the EP traffic. Overall, I think my son-in-law summed up our trip when he said, “This was great! Let’s do it again next year!” Thanks for providing our family with the perfect place to stay. Andrea G writes: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Masterpiece. There was plenty of room for my family and it was decorated exactly how I hoped and well stocked with all the necessities. Also location-wise it was close to everything we needed |
