This entire home is built to take in the breathtaking views of Longs Peak that are only available from this neighborhood. Longs Peak is the mountain that towers over all others in the area. It is the Rock; that inspired the creation of Rocky Mountain National Park and continues to beckon hikers and climbers from around the globe to ascend its 14,259 feet. With its peak in sight throughout this home, you truly be immersed in the beauty of the Rocky Mountains during your stay.

The main floor is a long, open connection of four rooms: the front foyer; the Roosevelt Living Room; the Kitchen, and the Family Gathering Hall, with one log bedroom behind them. The mountain views accompany you as you stroll from one end of the home to the other through these rooms. The entire upstairs of the home is a master suite, which enjoys the same views. Two quaint log bedrooms occupies the lower level of the home and face Longs Peak as well.

When you enter the home, a bright foyer invites you to take off your coat and kick off your shoes. You will find you have arrived in a home with the space to accommodate all of your family needs.

Next, make your way into the Roosevelt Living Room, where you will feel as if you were transported to the picturesque National Park lodges of the early 20th century, when Theodore Roosevelt first established the National Park program. Here you will find a lofted ceiling of hand hewn, old growth logs, a flagstone fireplace, rustic lighting, Longs Peak views and polished wood floors. This is the perfect place to recuperate after a long hike, snowshoe, or horseback ride.

The Roosevelt Room leads to the Kitchen. Here you can cook to your hearts content with the high-end appliances, custom cabinets, and granite countertops. The granite looks like it came from the granite boulders just outside!

On the other side of the Kitchen is the Family Gathering Hall, where you will be ready for any special occasion. There is seating for 8 around the rustic wood dining table, a cozy nook for puzzles and games, a comfy seating space for watching your favorite westerns, and big windows to take in the views.

Whenever those views make you want to go outside, just do it! An enormous wrap-around deck runs the entire length of the house. A favorite moment of guests here is early morning coffee on the deck when the air is still and elk pass in front of the house. Later in the day, it is the perfect place to grill some burgers and enjoy a glass of wine as the sun goes down.

Upstairs is the one of a kind elegant, Master Suite: the entire second floor is devoted to this romantic getaway! Wake up on the four-poster bed and watch the morning sun illuminate Longs Peak.
